Itinerary in Details

Day 1: Bangkok – Khao Yai National Park

After breakfast, we leave for Khao YaiThailand’s first national park. Opened in 1962 and considered today as one of the most beautiful, Khao Yai is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the diversity of its fauna and flora. Upon arrival you will walk through the central of the park on the Haew SuWat waterfall trail, the most famous in the park. Then continue drive pass to stop at Pa Diew Dai and Pa Tom Chai to observe the most beautiful scenery view of the park. After parking the car, we continue to walk along the trail about 200 meters to Mor Singto Animal Observation House. After lunch, we will do digestion by continue our trip to Nong Pakchee Animal Observation House and Saisin Dam by walking about 800 meters from the parking point. After the trip, back to your hotel for relax. After the dinner tour continues with an exciting night safari using spotlights to spot nocturnal wildlife.

Day 1: Bangkok – Khao Yai National Park

Day 2: Khao Yai- Korat or Nakorn Rachasima – Buriram (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the north and the capital of Isan: Nakhon Ratchasima, still called Korat by locals despite its new official name. Stop at Korat Fossil Museum to see petrified woods and ancient elephant museum. After that, drive continue into the down town and pass Thao Suranari Monument, built for a woman who fought the Laotian invasion in the 19th century and next to Phimai Historical Park and visit the beautiful Prasat Hin, and Sai Ngam and his giant ficus. After lunch, we are driving ahead to Phanom Rung Historical Park where is one of Thailand’s most amazing Khmer architecture site, aged over a thousand years old. We then continue visit Prasat Muang Tam, is located 8 Kilometers from Prasat Phnom Rung. Driver back to your hotel for check-in.  Overnight in Buriram.

Day 2: Khao Yai- Korat or Nakorn Rachasima – Buriram (B)

Day 3: Buriram – Surin (B)

Today after breakfast, we will depart for Surin. On the way stop to visit the Phaya Surin Pakdee Srinarong Jangwang monument and Baan Chanrom and Baan Khewasirin, this village is widely recognized for utilizing looms with over a hundred heddles to weave gold brocade silk of the highest quality. And then we continue drive to Ban Ta Klang Elephant Village to visit Suay minority where you can learn more about their local life. This village is famous for raising elephants as their companions . Here you also can enjoy an elephant riding along the Mun river. After lunch we head to Srikhorphum Castle. It is set of Khmer ruins comprises five pagodas built on the same base. Transfer to hotel in Surin for your overnight

Day 3: Buriram – Surin (B)

Day 4: Surin – Si Sa Ket – Ubon Rachathani (B)

Pick up you at your hotel in Surin and then transfer to Si Sa Ket and heading to Kantharalak district to visit Ban Sam Ta Rom Rambutan and Durian Orchard. We then move to Khao Phraviharn Sanctuary before access to Ubon Ratchathani province. On the way we will drop by Ban Yan Noi Arts and Crafts center. Once we reach Ubon Ratchathani, you have chance to explore Wat Pa Naphong, a peaceful temple and famous for teaching and doing meditation. Drive to the downtown for checking in at your hotel. Overnight in Ubon Ratchanthani

Day 4: Surin – Si Sa Ket – Ubon Rachathani (B)

Day 5: Ubon Ratchani Tours (B)

Today we will have a full day tour exploring Ubon Ratchani. Wake up early for a local morning visit to learn more the tradition and local life. And our tour start to visit Wat Thung Si Mueang, the architecture here is a mixture of Laos and rattankosin styles. And then followed by visiting to Pha Taem National Park, covers an area of 140 square kilometers, where plateaus and hills dominate the parks landscape
After having fun time with photos taking at the park, and then we are going to have our lunch at Khong Jiam Floating Restaurant on the Great Maekhong River, where you can sit and see the view of Laos’s mountains. After lunch, then transfer to hotel. Check in and relax on your own time afterwards. Overnight in Khong Jiam

Day 5: Ubon Ratchani Tours (B)

Day 6: Ubon Ratchathani – Bangkok by train (B)

Depart for Sam Phan Bok one of Unseen Thailand, there are over 3,000 holes that was scour by water flow of Khong River and become different shape such as The Emerald Lake, Micky.

Also nearby is a place known to the locals as the “Mekong Grand Canyon”, made up of sandstone cliffs that run along the Mekong River, it can be best seen by taking long tail boat tours from the Song Khon village. The boat stops in few places allowing the tourists to step on different rock formations and sandy beaches.

Then, embark on a night train to Bangkok. Overnight on train (2nd class AC, sharing).
